Hubert,

I love my PUPPY, but he seems to love my husband more than me. i'm the one who wanted a puppy not my husband. Is there anything i can do to make the puppy want me instead of my husband ? I take him outside, play ball with him, love him up, and he stills goes to my husband? i'm confused on this one. can u help me on this. i never had this happen to me before He is spoiled and has lots of love here. i'm not sure how to open him up. Also i had him to the vets and he's doing GREAT. but just can't get him to come to me and be mine.
thanks. karan.

Hubert,

Hi Hubert,

Sorry it has taken so long to write. I just wanted to catch you up on Bella's puppy hood. Bella has grown in leaps and bounds and we couldn't be happier with her. We have been working closely with a trainer since we brought her home in November. She has grown to be a very BEAUTIFUL girl. Everywhere we go people comment on her looks and disposition!!! She is sweet, loving and friendly. Our Vet just loves her!! He has Shepards as well and always tells us how beautiful and sweet she is!!
One day on the beach a woman asked us what kind of dog she was, when I told her she looked back at her own German Shepard a little puzzled and asked where we purchased her!! You cannot believe the difference in their looks. Our Trainer has trained over 3000 dogs and says she is one of the best looking Shepard's he has ever seen!!!

Bella is quite the talker as well, I never knew Shepards were talkers, thought they were stoic and quiet!! really entertaining!!!! She was just spayed and had her hernia taken care of and she is doing very well. I will send pictures of Bella soon!!!

Thanks for such a wonderful, loving family pet.

Hello, Hubert,

I just thought I'd take a few minutes to let you know how we pleased we are with our new GSD puppy (Blitz). She is adjusting to us, our home, and her new 'big brother' just fine. She seems very happy, and is constantly surprising us with her intelligence. She is truly a wonderful girl and a great addition to our family!!! Thank you so much! I will send you pictures in a little while, if you'd like.

Thank you again,

Hello Hubert

Just an update on Maximus. He's doing quite well- we have been trying to socialize him as much as possible and he has been doing very well. He's doing great with my kids and basic command training has been good.

His ears have popped up, and his coloring is really changing. And, he has a wonderful personality. Everywhere we go he turns heads and people want to meet him. He is a very special dog.

Now that he's been here a while I will let you in on a secret: the day we came out to get him, I told my wife that "we are making this trip basically just to see if everything Hubert said about the dog was true, because if it is, this is a done deal and we've got our dog."

One thing- we are using the pro-plan like you said, and 2 weeks ago he weighed in at 27 pounds at the vet. He is getting a total of 4 cups a day. He does seem thin, which I remember you said you prefer, but does that sound like a good amount? The chart on the bag is tough to go by.

Please let me know what you think. We'll send you a picture soon also.

Thanks again and stay well-

Rick

Hi,Hubert and John

Just wanted to update you and let you guys know how its going with Bella. My family and I couldn't be happier with her she is great. She has bonded closely with my family and loves my two daughters. She is highly intelligent and and very easy to train. My daughters enjoy playing hide and seek with her where they run and hide somewhere on our property and I send Bella on a 20ft. lead and she tracks them and finds them no matter where they hide They think that's great. She is growing fast and is a big girl. I really don't have any concerns for her at this point my only question for you guys is when should I expect her ears to stand? She is three months old now. They were up for about a week and then went back down and are floppy. I just want to know if this is normal or am I supposed to have them taped?

Thank You,
Robert Santangelo and Family

My wife named our dog "Chaos" and we couldn't be happier with our purchase from your kennel. He is very intelligent and an extremely quick learner. He gets along well with our 10 year old Shepard and we believe he is keeping her active and on the move which has been good for her. He loves to go for rides in vehicles to see new places. Extremely inquisitive. Training has gone well and we have been doing basic commands and moved from food based rewards to using a rubber ball that he can fetch. He is infatuated with playing ball and would retrieve it for hours if he could. House training went quick and with almost no accidents. I work odd hours and he is at home with my wife alot minus my presence- and he has taken on a good protective (healthy) demeanor regarding our home. Nothing vicious mind you, just very attentive and vocally alerting us that people are around/near the house etc. We do need to keep socializing him with other dogs it seems, but that is coming along too and getting better with the more dogs he meets. We are very pleased overall with everything about him.

Thank you again for making him available to us on such short notice when we called in the spring. It has been a great few months with him in our family and we look forward to having him with us for years to come. We will continue to update you as he progresses.

Sincerely,
Tom & Kris Bolanowski

Chooie is a 4 year old male, semi-long haired German Shepherd dog. He was 12 weeks old when he came to live with my family and me. We took the advice of Hubert and let him choose which puppy would suit our families needs. We just told him what we were looking for in a puppy , who the puppy was going to really be for and what we were hoping to accomplish as an end result with the training the dog. Hubert was right on! His ability to learn is amazing. He stays on our property without a fence, not going past a certain point and was house trained in approximately one month. We recently had some behavior issues in which Chooie was starting to control us instead of listening to our commands. We had treated him like a spoiled teenager instead of a dog. I contacted Hubert Debski for help. He took Chooie into his care and worked with him for 10 days. What a changed dog he was when I brought Chooie home! Chooie is still protective towards the family but he is more confident, more manageable and his disposition is much calmer. With Hubert's instructions and different working techniques he has changed Chooie's misbehaving ways into good and positive ones. I highly recommend Hubert Debski for breeding and training purposes of this breed and any other large breed dog.

Being a business owner I often found myself in some rather questionable locations driving at all times of the night. I called K9 Union Importers regarding my concerns for my vehicle, tools, etc. as well as my own well being in order that they could recommend a solution. The bottom line was the purchase of a 1-1/2 year old German shepherd Personal Protection Dog. I've never been so impressed with the intelligence and obedience of this animal. He is very protective and aware of his role with me and yet very gentle and loving with children, family, friends and my other male dog (purchased as a puppy from K9 Union also) as well. I would highly recommend that anyone wanting a puppy or protection dog contact K9 Union Importers.

Goran RembishI live in the tri-state area and I own a large amount of property. Since I am elderly I contemplated purchasing a home security system but wasn't to convinced that they would have an effective response time. While investigating different avenues of home security I came across K9 Union Importers website. I was impressed with their understanding of my situation and how they suggested I consider a home protection dog that would not only watch over my property and myself, but would be a wonderful companion and loyal friend. I now own Goran a 16-month-old German shepherd. I couldn't be happier. He is calm, obedient, very attentive and alert. He looks beautiful. We do everything together. My mind is at ease when we aren't at home and when we are I have a new sense of security. I highly recommend purchasing a German shepherd from K9 Union Importers.

Hello Hubert and Susan,

Thought you might like to see how our beautiful boy is progressing. Feel free to place these photos on your web site if you like. As you indicated, we think he is going to be quite large( almost 30 lbs. already!) We certainly love this little guy and are having a lot of fun watching him grow up.
Please let us know if you receive this.

Just wanted to drop a quick email to let you know that Chewie is doing fabulous. Both of my dogs are getting along great. Worked with Trooper John Beck from the NJSP last week and learned that his K9 "Jack" was purchased from you.

Bill

We call John Beck from the NJSP all of the time. Our department doesn't have any dogs but they are getting them in the future. His dog works fabulous and looks great. I explained to him that my puppy looked similiar to his dog and thats how we started talked about K9 Union. I will keep you updated.
Thank you,
Bill

Hi,
We purchased our beautiful Ava from you guys in Late February of 2004. She was my husband’s 40th birthday present. He must have spend two hours holding her in your living room (you had just brought the puppies from overseas the night before). You were soo patient with us. We thought we’d send you some pictures and let you know what a wonderful dog she is. She house trained in about 2 weeks and even learned not to go in our white carpet living room in about the same time. She has become part of our family and we couldn’t love her more. We’ve actually considered contacting you about getting another puppy but we haven’t decided yet.
Thanks you for helping our family grow.

Hi Hubert,
We are sending a picture of Atos and the family. He’s doing great we love him so much. He loves to take walks every day, and likes to play with Jersey. At night he sleeps at the top of the stairs, and no one is allowed to walk around downstairs at night. We’re really glad you talked us into taking him. We’ve never known a German Shepherd that could out eat our Golden Retriever. His favorite spot is by the stove in the kitchen. Our neighbor has three little dogs and he still hasn’t figured out what they are. We will never get a puppy because Atos has worked out perfectly.

Thank you so much for our wonderful dog. Happy Holidays!!

I hope your family is doing. continue to nuture wonderful dogs

best of luck

ann and kids
and of course Baron

Thank you so much for your kindness. Rambo(everyone around here is calling him Buddy, because they say he is my new buddy) is doing so well. He likes to be by my side and I like that. I forgot to tell you that Tasha was in movies and television. She was supposed to film a movie with Kate Winslet in a couple of weeks. If Rambo wants to, he can be in a movie!! I will let you know what it is and when it comes out andyou can see him on the big screen! Exciting! Thanks again . I love my new dog!!

We are so happy to have Nassau and are glad we didn’t miss out on such a wonderful puppy because we were going to go on vacation. We want to thank you for holding onto and watching Nassau for us while we were away. She is doing well. She is very smart and catches on very quickly. She was used to walking on the leaseh and having the collars on the first day. We take them off inside of course but, just one with her ID and onle for walking while our. She hasn’t made any mistaked in the house so thanks for the training too.Nassau sleeps well at night. The first night she cried 20 minutes. But it is all over now. We put her in her crate at night and that seemed to help. Thank you again….. Valerie and Keith

Hubert,
Thank you for being so understanding with Rambo and then Atos. He truly is a great dog. We have found his favorite past time is to just lay around. We will send you pictures of all of us with Atos soon.
Thanks,…. Chris and Fiona.

Susan,
I am very sorry that I did not get to meet you and your husband but wanted to thank you both for getting us such a intelligent puppy. I know from talking to you and your husband on the phone that we chose the right breeder. She is so smart and all ready has bonded with the family she knows that if I take her out and she does not go that she does not get a treat and when she does go we make a big deal about it and she comes running over and sits right in from of us for her treat. We think that she already has grown a couple fo inches and her appetite is great. We have to take her in the other room while we put her food in the dish because she goes crazy when she sees us pick up her bowl. We think that training her is going to be a lot of fun just because of how smart she is and how willing she is to learn. We will send you emails in a few weeks of pictures of here and keep you updated on her progress. Again our family wants to thank you and your husband for a wonderful dog..
Sincerely yours … Glen Russo

Hi

Yes I did get your email. If we didn't have 3 dogs already, we'd be coming down for another puppy!I've given your email address to a few friends that may be interested and I know they would be good owners. Everyone is impressed with Axl's temperament and OB. He's very noble and intelligent looking....but he's only 8 months and acts like an idiot sometimes! We have a lot of fun with him. When will the puppies be ready to go and are there males and females that will go as family pets.
Thanks for your help
Corette

Hello!
Rambo/Buddy says hi! We bonded very quickly. We are doing our best to make him a very happy dog. We had a setback, when, after going back and forth, and back and forth on the neutering issue, we went ahead, and he had a post-surgical complication with bleeding. He will soon be playing with the other dogs. He loves everyone he meets, and wants to play with all the dogs. He has a favorite...her name is Ruby. We got his AKC papers in the mail, saying that Hubert needed to sign, so I will send them out to you, and am hoping that you will sign and send them in the envelope I provided. Thank you so much. We are so thankful that we have this magnificent dog in our lives. He is a real joy. Everyone who meets him say that he is the best looking and has the best personality they have ever seen. We are very proud owners. We will send you photos soon, and will keep you posted on his TV/film experience, if he so desires to do the 'work'. Thanks, again, for the signature, in advance, and for providing us a dog that we love so much, and loves us back.

Hi
Thought you might like an update on Axl. I've attached some pictures from the beginning of August. He's now 72 pounds. I can't say enough about his temperament. Nothing bothers him. He does whatever I ask of him. We just started rally OB. He's doing great and I'm struggling to keep up and do him justice! He spends a lot of the day with my husband, riding in the truck with him doing maintenance on the property. He loves the water and sometimes just floats around. He puts his whole head under the water and blows bubbles out his nose to retrieve a toy. He has an amazing nose for tracking. If I let him out and he can't find my husband, he just puts his nose to the ground and almost always finds him. We just started playing a game where we hide and ask him to find. Sometimes he doesn't...but I think his doesn't always know what we're asking him to do. We're kind of guessing how we should go about doing it. I just got a digital camera so I'll hopefully (if I can figure it out) be sending you up to date pictures soon
Thanks for a great dog.
Corette

Hi
What a great puppy! Great temperment and quick to learn. We're having a great time with him. We just finished puppy kindergarten and will start basic OB in a few weeks. I've had people ask about where I got him and a few friends who are already GSD owners are interested. Do you still have any puppies or will you have another litter anytime soon?
Thanks,
Lisa and John

Hi Hubert,
just wanted to let you know that we are so happy with our puppy we purchased from you. Her name is Zoey and she is a spunky girl! Her ears are both up and she is absolutely beautiful. She is so sweet and loves to cuddle. Other times she is so full of energy she runs around the yard at 100 miles an hour. Zoey has a great personality. It's amazing how gentle she is with my son (has a medical condition w/his leg). He loves playing soccer with her-she brings the ball back to him and sometimes makes him chase her. She is almost totally house trained. She hates the broom and vacuum cleaner and barks at her own reflection which is really cute. We are so pleased with our puppy Zoey.
Thank you so much!
Linda, Steve and Steven Balint

Hubert,
Just wanted to update you and share a picture of a female shepherd I got from you last May. Biri was her name when you gave her to me and I decided to keep the name. She has been an excellent dog and a great companion. She is very friendly and extremely intelligent. Thanks again for a wonderful dog!
Sincerely,
Will Guilfoyle

I'm sending a few pictures of the puppy we spoke about a few days ago. We purchased her in Nov 03 if I remember correctly. I dont think we'll be getting her mated this time, but I'm sure we will be talking to you next time. She is very friendly, but cautious temperment, at least until she knows you. We have no problem bringing her to a flea market, except she wants to "check" everyones bags.:D She has never bitten anyone, or acted agressively to anyone. If she dont feel right about someone, she will sometimes growel, or bark, mostly she'll just give them the "look" and that will be enough. She's so motivated that if there's a toy even close by, she's not interested in being petted. She's about 50 Lbs and I dont believe she'll grow anymore.
If you'd like more pictures I can send some more,(I'm not very good with the camera- she looks better in person) or try to scan the papers into the computer so that you can better determine a mate for her this fall.
Thanks again.
Eric Schwab

We adopted one of your puppies two weeks ago. We are writing to let you know that she has adjusted well to our household. She has come out of her shell and is now a part of our family. We couldn't love her anymore than we do. Our two boys are having a great time with her. They can't wait for her to be done teething! They have named her Maddie. We noticed a day or two after her being home that she had a bad cough, so we took her to our vet. She had earmites, pink eye, and a bad cold. Her cough is not getting any better, so we have an appointment today to take her back. She is a very intelligent dog and has learned alot in two weeks. She is already 95% housebroken and she loves to sleep in her crate at night. I will keep you informed about her health, and again, thank you for giving us a wonderful member of our family.
Robin, John, Jack, Ian Hausman

Hi!
We just wanted to let you see how the "puppy" is doing that we purchased from you in April of 2004. As you can see fro the pictures, Bear is growing to be a big boy. He truly LOVES all types of people! His puppy chewing has almost been eliminated;however, he'll still chomp on our wood trim and doors occasionally. He also loves to drag his bed out of his crate! We are still working on getting him not to "mouth" us when showing affection; those chompers can bruise even though he's not applying pressure!! He really is a sweetheart. People are always admiring him and saying how handsome he is. Thank you so much for choosing such a fine example of a German Shepherd Dog.
Sincerely,
Barbara Delnero

Hi there K9 Union! Just a note to tell you how happy I am with my wonderful little Heidi. I am including 2 recent pictures of her and 1 baby picture from the summer when we had her down at the beach. She is perfect.
Thanks,
Anna Hardzewicz
